Over my last 3 camps (6 weeks) in the National Forest areas of Northern Colorado, I've had plenty of time to practice flying my drone. This is some of the footage I captured. Flying a drone as a video camera is a learning process, for sure. I still suck at it, but am getting better. I hope you enjoy the short video.
All footage in this video was taken with a DJI Mavic Mini, even inside the tent, during the months of June and July, 2021 in various locations within Roosevelt National Forest. Two of the dispersed camping sites were just east of the Rocky Mountain National Park border and the third (where I am as of this writing) is just north of the RMNP border near Red Feather Lakes. Thanks for watching!
Here's a look at my new 100 watt portable solar panel from Topsolar. This replaced my previous panel that went bad. This new one is much better!
I recently camped at Pawnee National Grasslands, and the wind was crazy. Here's a video showing my awning in the wind.
This is a video showing the ARB Screen Room attached to my ARB Awning. This really increases the protected living space of my van and is fantastic to keep the pesky bugs from bugging me.
Here are a few examples of my portrait photography in a cool framed show made in After Effects.
